Lincoln, NE - Mountain bike racing resumes this Saturday the 11th at Branched Oak Lake near Lincoln with the Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series.
As with all the Psycowpath Series races there is no day of registration. Registration is online only and closes at 8:00pm on Friday, September 10th. Racers may register at RaceRegister.com - http://www.raceregister.net/RaceRegister/event?action=view&id=20

Blue skies, reasonable temperatures and a strong south wind greeted racers at Maskenthine Lake just outside of Stanton, Nebraska Saturday for near perfect racing conditions. With few appearances in this year's series, Stephen Jarrett (Trek Stores/Midwest Cycling Community) was the unknown at the start line of the Cat 1 event, but race favorite Kevin Limpach (Trek Stores/Midwest Cycling Community) had him marked. Jarrett took the lead in the uphill gravel start only to see Limpach jump around as the racers took to the singletrack. Along with with John Rokke (CycleWorks/Moose's Tooth) and Ryan Feagan (Bike Masters), Limpach & Jarrett created a gap on Norfolk native Jesse Peterson (Monkey Wrench Cycles/Icon Graphics), with the remainder of the field strung out

Lincoln, NE -- These are the dog days of summer, school is in session, many regional road and MTB race series are coming to an end, so what's next? Cyclo-cross! The Flatwater Cycling Team will host a weekly training series at Van Dorn Park in Lincoln beginning, Wednesday, September 1. The training sessions will feature two heats, Men & Women Category 1/2 and Men & Women Cateogry 3/4.
