The University of Nebraska Medical Center is Team Kaos' primary sponsor, with a partnership now in its eighth season. Team Kaos rides Felt bicycles and is based out of Bike Masters in Omaha.

After recording a team-record 49 wins in 2006, Kaos racked up another 65 in 2007, including 13 state championships. Kaos riders recorded wins in five states, from Oregon (Chris Spence's Overall Masters victory at the Cascade Classic) to Iowa (Matt Landen's Cat. 3 Iowa City road race victory). The team also raced internationally for the third straight season, finishing second as a team at the 10th Clasico Coqui Dorado in Puerto Rico.

While known for its abilities on the road and dirt, Team Kaos also takes pride in its community service efforts. Since 2001, the team has donated more than $10,000 to the Eppley Cancer Center at the Nebraska Medical Center. Also, Kaos participates annually in bike safety rodeos, school clinics and fund-raising and charity events.

July will feature the seventh annual Dave Babcook Memorial Stage Race, now a part of the Omaha Cycling Weekend. Last year more than 120 cyclists from across the Midwest participated in the two-day event, named in honor of Dave Babcook, a cyclist and research associate at UNMC who died of pancreatic cancer in 2000. As a companion to the race, a recreational tour was added to last year's schedule. Proceeds from both events were donated to the Eppley Cancer center in Babcook's memory.
