Pre-registration is required for both the saturday and sunday events. Riders may register for one or both races.

Complete information including the schedule, daily prize list, directions and more will in the online flier avaiable in the CALENDAR section of www.nebraskacyclingnews.com

The race weekend has changed its format from a stage race to two separate events. Day one, Saturday will feature a road race at Branched Oak Lake near Raymond and the weekend will wrap up Sunday with a circuit race at Pioneers Park in Lincoln.

It is the first time in four years that the Spring Cycling Classic will not be a stage race.

"If I am going to hold a proper stage race, I would need a lot more sponsorship dollars to present the level of event that racers have come to expect from me," explains John Lefler, Jr, race director. "Going to two races and eliminating the individual time trial will help cut operating costs and therefore I am not passing costs on to the riders. Quite frankly, if it were not for the generous support of Dr. Stevens and LifeCycles OB/GYN, I am not so sure we could have had the races this year."

Weekly updates and information will be posted on www.nebraskacyclingnews.com in advance of the Spring Cycling Classic pb LifeCycles OB/GYN, April 12-13.

Questions regarding the race can be directed to Race Director, John Lefler, Jr.
