The Midwest is full of cyclists roaming the back roads and trails, where great athletes push themselves harder each ride because the accomplishment feels good. The Midwest is full of people who like bikes just as much as you do.  No matter how you like to ride your bike, this is an opportunity for you to meet other people who share your interest and experience something new.

Learn about organized rides and events, cool ride routes, great weekend trips, lodging, training and maintenance, and the best coffee shops and brew pubs around the area: all the cycling essentials.  The Midwest Cycling Community is more than a club, it is an avenue to experience the full spectrum of cycling in your community. Join to help the community grow and make a difference in the world of area cyclists.

Everyone is Welcome
If you enjoy riding a bike and want to be a part of a Community in Motion then that is all it takes.  Everyone is welcome in this community.  Share your experiences with others and help promote your brand of cycling. Road, mountain, and multi-sport athletes can discover the excitement of being part of a team that supports you in your quest to succeed. While you 2007etape_tourprogress as an athlete, you will find avenues to join our elite regional cycling teams, Midwest Wheelmasters, or make the ultimate leap and join the HRRC Trek Stores Regional Racing Program.

2007 saw a very successful year all around for the Midwest Cycling Community:

In addition to US results.  The Midwest Cycling Community was felt on a global scale at the L'Etape du Tour from Foix to Loudenville.  Co-Founder Kent McNeill finished 129th out of 7,000 overall with a time of 7hrs 34minutes, while Steve Jarrett finished 683rd with a time of 8hrs 32 minutes coming in just ahead of Greg LeMond who finished 812th in a time of 8 hrs 41 minutes.  Full article can be seen at http://www.nebraskacyclingnews.com/content/view/745/204/.

The MOST important thing about the Midwest Cycling Community is not results.  It is just about having fun and enjoying your bike.  It does not matter if you race or just ride your cruiser to the grocery store, it is all about the connection between you and your bike.
