Lincoln, NE -- Cyclo-cross season is upon us and the Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series returns with four races over two weekends in both Omaha and Lincoln.
The series kicks off with the Omaha Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, October 20-21 at Swanson Park in Bellevue. The Omaha Velo Club will host these races, which were rider favorites last year. Swanson is known primarily as off-road stomping grounds for the MTB crowd, but the terrain translates to cyclo-cross very well.
The Nebraska Cyclo-cross season will wrap-up in Lincoln at Pioneers Park on Saturday & Sunday, November 17-18. The Nebraska NO FEAR State Championship Weekend features the USA Cycling State Championhip on Sunday, November 18. The course at Pioneers Park has quickly grown into a regional favorite with riders all too aware of the mayhem to ensue on "Hooligan Hill."
Complete details for the Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series will be posted on www.nebraskacyclingnews.com no later than October 1.
