Six Trustees Elected to Various USA Cycling Association Boards
Colorado Springs, Colo. -USA Cycling announced today the results of its 2007 elections as six individuals were elected as Trustees to various USA Cycling association Boards. A total of 1,617 USA Cycling members cast 2,471 votes this year throughout the election process.
Seats that were filled include the Organizer and Industry positions on the NORBA (mountain biking) Board of Trustees, Eastern and Western Section positions on the USCF (road, track and cyclo-cross) Board of Trustees and two At-Large seats on the NCCA (collegiate cycling) Board of Trustees.
NORBA (Mountain Bike)
Lisa Nye-Salladin (Kerryville, Texas) retained her seat on the NORBA Board of Trustees after running unopposed as an Organizer Trustee. Nye-Salladin received a total of 357 votes.
For the open Industry position, incumbent Gary Fisher (San Anselmo, Calif.) was re-elected with 279 votes over runner-up Steve Marshall (Encino, Calif.), who garnered 154.
USCF (Road, Track & Cyclo-cross)
After running unopposed in the Western Section, Wayne Stetina (Mission Viejo, Calif.) was re-elected to the USCF Board of Trustees with 223 votes.
In the Eastern Section, Dave Miller (Bethlehem, Pa.) received 451 votes to win the election over incumbent Mike Fraysee of Glen Spey, N.Y. (290) and Michael Norton of Monson, Mass. (203).
NCCA (Collegiate)
Two At-Large Trustees were also elected to the National Collegiate Cycling Association Board of Trustees - Sarah Uhl (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and incumbent Nathan Drake (Wheat Ridge, Colo.). Uhl received 137 votes and Drake collected 121 to eclipse the totals of other candidates Rand Miller of San Francisco, Calif. (68), Brady Beckham of Columbia, Mo. (62), Anne Spalding of Grand Junction, Colo. (48), Dean Peterson of Indianapolis, Ind. (48) and T.G. Taylor of Fort Collins, Colo. (30).

There were no elections in 2007 for the BMXA or USPRO associations of USA Cycling.
