| Racing Is Just Part of the Action in Omaha This Weekend |

We are offering up 126 individual stage prizes (in 14 different categories) plus overall prizes totaling more than $7,500 for the time-based stage race. The stage race consists of a road race Saturday morning, a time trial Saturday afternoon and a criterium through the streets of downtown Omaha on Sunday. More than $500 cash is also up for grabs in the criterium, along with beer nickels and Chipotle burritos. Every registered racer will receive a coupon for a free Chipotle burrito, GU20 and GU gel packets and a commemorative University of Nebraska Medical Center Eppley Cancer Center bracelet. Riders signing in for the criterium will all also receive a beer nickel to redeem at The Upstream Brewery, located just a few blocks from the course. As an added benefit to every racer, a free buffet will be served at the Upstream West (Legacy location) Saturday night. Sign-up will take place before the road race Saturday morning. If racing isn’t your style, we invite you to take part in our inaugural Babcook Family Research Fund Cycling Tour on Sunday at 9 a.m. This relaxing, fun ride from Downtown Omaha to Boyer Chute and back (long course of 31 miles, shorter route of 19 miles) will get you in the mood to watch the criterium the rest of the day. Finally, we have ordered up “Chamber of Commerce” weather – highs in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s for both days. What more can you ask for? More information on Stage Race...
