The 2007 Monumental Memorial Cycling Weekend continues Sunday, May 27 with the Old West Trail Time Trial in Odell, NE.

Forecasts call for diminishing rain showers overnight in the BEatrice and Odell areas with less than a 10% chance of rain by the start of the OWT TT at 12:00p.m.

  • Rider check-in opens @ 11:00a.m. at the Odell Fire Hall on Lincoln Street.
  • Riders will start beginning at 12:00p.m. and leave at 01:00 intervals.
  • START TIMES will be posted on www.nebraskacyclingnews.com and at the Beatrice Holiday Inn on Saturday evening by 10:00p.m.

  • TT START & FINISH: The start and finish of the OWT TT will be held in Odell, NE. From the Odell Fire and Rescue Hall, it is located three blocks north on Main Street near the baseball diamond. The finish will be located near the start area as well.

  • DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 77 south thru Beatrice to Hwy 112. Proceed south on Hwy 112 to Hwy 8. At Hwy 8, turn right and head west to Odell. At Perry Rd (aka SW 61st) turn right and proceed north to Lincoln St. Turn right at Lincoln for parking. The race organization is encouraging everyone to NOT use SW 61st (aka Odell blacktop) to travel to the event. Our goal is to keep the roadway as clear as possible for the duration of the OWT TT.
  • COURSE: The OWT TT will start and finish in the town of Odell and utilize a 20-mile out and back course with plenty of rollers and flat sections. Odell Fire and Rescue, Blue River REACT and the Army Reserve will provide traffic control for the race course.
