This Saturday May 12 features a first for the Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series. For the first time ever, the series offers a 6 hour marathon event: hosted by veteran long distance racers at CycleWorks in Lincoln, Saturdays event will include options for racing with a partner on a team or going it solo for a full 6 hours! As always, the 2007 Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series features free food, music, and fun-- so don't miss out. And if you haven't already gotten your series T-Shirt, now's the time to get it.
The trails at Platte River State Park are some of the midwest's finest, and have seen racing action and acclaim from Masters World Champion Steve Tilford, 24 hour National Champion Cameron Chambers, from Olympian Travis Brown, and even from your little sister riding a fixie. So pony up: team options exist for fun at any skill/ability level. Riders of all ability levels have found a love for longer races: less speed, a bit more relaxed, the ability to enjoy the trail while pushing yourself as much as you want to, and sharing the course, the pain, and the fun with 100 of your closest friends. If you've never tried endurance or team racing, now's your chance.
