The Nebraska Medical Center/Team Kaos holds five of the seven top spots in the 2007 NCA "Rider of the Year" standings after the first of 11 scheduled events.

Below is a list of 2007 Nebraska "ROY" events as well as the rules for the season long competition.
 
2007 Nebraska USCF "Rider of the Year"

Races selected as ROY events will have the following categories .

Men 1 & 2
Men Cat. 3
Men Cat. 4
Men Masters 35+ (Cat. 3/4)
Men Masters 45+ (Cat. 3/4)
Men Masters 55+ (Cat. 3/4)
Women 1/2/3

SERIES RULES & AWARDS

The top finishers in each of the ROY category will receive free entry to all 2007 ROY events!

First, second, and third place awards will be given at an NCA sponsored event to the rider with the highest point total in each category.

The ROY is considered a series competition and all USCF rules shall apply.

If a tie occurs, the USCF rules for determining the winner will apply.

Placing within the ROY competition is based on the highest to lowest point totals.

Points from all ROY events will be included in a riders point total.

If a rider does not compete in an event they are awarded zero points for that event.

Points may not be transferred laterally ( i.e. from Masters to Cat 3).

A rider who is upgrading will have 50% of their points transferred to the higher category.

To be eligible for RIDER OF THE YEAR, rider must compete in at least 50% of 2007 ROY events.

Stage races shall have ROY points awarded based on GC.

Stage race points shall be awarded the same as all other ROY events.

Points are as follows and do not change based on field size:
