The 2007 Nebraska road race season continues May 19 in Norfolk with the Nebraska State Time Trial Championship – “The Highway to Hell”, presented by Monster Energy. Elkhorn Valley Cycling powered by Monster will be hosting the Championship this year and has a challenging 40-kilometer course ready and waiting. The Nebraska State Time Trial Championship is part of the Nebraska Rider of the Year Series.

Races begin at 9:00 AM with awards to following the conclusion of racing for the day. The race begins and ends in Woodland Park, just east of Norfolk on Highway 35. From there, riders will face a hilly 40k out and back course on a smooth road with wide shoulders.

The title sponsor, Monster Energy, will be on hand with product samples and there will be pre-race fruit, water, and bagels available. The race headquarters will be located in the campground in Woodland Park featuring modern restrooms, picnic facilities, and playground equipment.  Woodland Park Grocery and Convenience Store is also within a very short walk of the race headquarters.

On-line registration is encouraged through www.velosource.com as there will be no registrations the day of the event. Start times will be posted after registrations close at www.nencycling.org
