Omaha, NE - Area endurance athletes have a once in a lifetime opportunity to get world-class advice from their sport's top experts.

The Midwest Multisport Club invites local athletes to Prairie Life Center at 85th Q Street for a two-day symposium January 6th and 7th. This symposium brings to Omaha cutting edge professionals in the field of multisport training and equipment.

Headlining the symposium is Chris Leito, America's top finisher at the 2006 Hawaii Ironman World Championship. Chris is heralded as one of America's top prospects on the international triathlon racing circuit.

Multisport events are among the fastest growing endurance sports in the country. These events involve a continuous series of disciplines, such as running, cycling and swimming. Part of the thrill of events is that participants rapidly switch from one activity to another. The most common forms of the sport are duathlon and triathlon, which is why they are the primary focus of this symposium.

One of the reasons this type of events is so popular is that they combine several of the fitness activities that Omaha area residents participate in on a regular basis to maintain fitness. Multisport events are a great way to utilize several types of training in a single competition.

The Midwest Multisport Club is hosting this January symposium because the club wants to provide area residents an opportunity to speak directly with qualified experts. The goal of the program is to assist area athletes maximize their training to achieve meaningful results from their efforts.

This event is open to participants of all levels. For a complete schedule and for more information contact Jay Thomas at J5500T@CS.COM
