New Developments!!!

ImageAs of Tuesday morning, after calls to all the Lincoln bike shops (thanks again, everyone), the rumors of promising ticket sales for the Midwest premiere of Pure Sweet Hell not only proved to be true, but also better than we ever could have expected. Close to 200 tickets are gone, in the hands of some very happy folks, with only 50 remaining for the one-and-only showing of Pure Sweet Hell at Lincoln¹s Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center, Friday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. (reception, featuring The Flatwater Boys, to follow at Bricktop, 1427 ŒO¹ St.).

If you still need to pick up a ticket, try anyone of these fine establishments. Hurry, though. They¹re going fast:

Monkey Wrench Cycles, 1225 P Street, Suite A, Lincoln, NE (402) 477 4104
Bike Pedalers, 1353 South 33rd, Lincoln, NE (402) 474 7000
LBC, 1401 Pine Lake Rd., Lincoln, NE 68512 (402) 420 6522
Cycle Works, 720 N 27th, Lincoln, NE (402) 475 2453
Blues Bike and Fitness, 3331 Pioneers Blvd., Lincoln, NE (402) 488 2101

On the evening of the Pure Sweet Hell screening ‹ thanks to the generous donations from Lincoln Bicycle Company, Monkey Wrench Cycles, Cycle Works, Blues Bike and Fitness, Bike Pedalers, and The Mill ‹ there will also be raffle tickets available for purchase. Contributions to the raffle include complete bikes from LeMond and Bianchi, helmets from Giro and Bell, cycling clothing from Hunter, Nike, Hypnotic Designs, Cars R Coffins, and Pearl Izumi, as well as gift certificates for coffee, spring bike tune-ups, and other random cycling products. Raffle tickets will be available before the screening for one dollar each, and winners will be announced at the reception to follow at Bricktop.

Here¹s a friendly reminder:

Support your local bike shops and other local business they¹re supporting you.

Proceeds from ticket sales, as well as 100% of the funds raised from the raffle, will go to benefit The Great Plains Trails Network and The Becca Wilkins Wellness Fund.

Special thanks to all the sponsors and supporters of this screening: Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center, Footloose and Fancy, Monkey Wrench Cycles, Bike Pedalers, The Lincoln Bicycle Company, Cycle Works, Blues Bike and Fitness, The Mill, Team Kaos, Sandhills Publishing, A to Z Printing, Bricktop, CVO, CH, and all Nebraska cyclists.
