The early registration deadline for the the 2006 Cornhusker State Games Road Stage Race is this Monday, June 20. For complete information and to register online, visit www.cornhuskerstategames.com. Online registrations save $2.00. Registrations will be accpeted through Monday, June 27, 2006. However, a $5.00 late fee will be applied. The CSG stage race is set for July 22-23 at Branched Oak Lake near Raymond, NE. The two day, three stage event will feature an individual time trial and road race on Saturday, July 22 and a criterium on Sunday, July 23. All three events will be held at Branched Oak Lake. New for 2006, the CSG stage race will be a USCF sanctioned event. Riders must present a USCF race license at rider check-in OR purchase a one-day license ($10.00) for each day of racing. One-day licenses can be purchased by riders racing in the following divisions: Junior Men, Junior Women, Men 35+, Men 45+, Men 55+, Women 4 and Men 5. Quick Updates
Starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday December 20th and continuing this winter when the temps are low, group stationary bike training rides will take place at The Cathedral of the Risen Christ Gym located at 3245 S 37th St, aka 37th & Sheridan Blvd. Bring your bike, stationary trainer, something to protect the floor from your stand (mat, towel) and some change as a free will for lights. Monsignor Tucker has made this location available. We will have a big screen showing cycling DVDs. You can come as early as 7:00 to set up, and we will be ending around 9:30 and out by 10:00. Feel free to come and go as you please during the session.
The Gym floor needs to be protected. Please remove your shoes if they have cleats.
