Some changes for the '05 series include the addition of a Singlespeed category and Women's C event for first-time women cyclo-cross racers. The new schedule features an additional race as well as a back-to-back race day format for the series. Along with the thoroughly marked courses and quality barricades that have become a staple of the Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series, this year's series will include a larger festival style tent with complimentary food and drink for riders and spectators (while it lasts) at each event. In addition, the hospitality tents will feature 6 CycleOps fluid trainers for riders to use for warm-ups. Nebraska CX Series iPod Music Mix Contest Music is a big part of the ambience at the Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series. For the 2005 series, a "mixtape" contest will give riders and spectators a chance to showcase their musical tastes at each event. Submit a 2.5 to 3 hour mix of music (please use discretion with regard to lyrical content) for any of the six races in the '05 Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series and recieve a FREE Nebraska CX Series long-sleeve t-shirt. Mixes will be reviewed and chosen by a panel of racers.
