 Jon Randell leading the group at the Sandhills Publishing Criterium Photo: Mike Madcharo Aaron Pool (Lincoln Plating-Lemond) capped off an impressive season of racing with a first place finish in the Cat. 1/2 Men's event at the Sandhills Publishing Nebraska State Road Race saturday afternoon at Branched Oak Lake near Raymond. Pool broke away with Jarred Berger (Team Kaos Cycling) and was soon joined by Hot Tubes rider, Alex Boyd. The trio of riders held off the field, battling wind gusts in excess of 30mph. In the finale, Pool was able to hold off Berger in the sprint capturing Lincoln Plating-Lemond's first Cat. 1/2 state title of the year.
In the Sandhills Pubslishing Criterium on sunday at Lincoln Southwest High School, Lincoln Plating-Lemond's, Jon Randell broke away in the first lap of the 60-minute contest with Team Kaos rider, Jarred Berger, Jay Thomas of Highgear/LBC Racing and Alex Boyd (Hot Tubes).
