A group of Nebraska off-roaders fared well at the "24 Hours of Afton" MTB event in Afton, MN this past weekend. The veterans team led by Kingdon Hawes (Cycling Club of Nebraska) finished 1st and 4th overall. In addition, the veterans squad led by John Holmes crossed the line 3rd in their division and 11th overall. The event drew 47 teams and 52 solo riders. |
