SPRING CLASSIC RAISES $5047 FOR WILLARD |

The 4th Annual Lincoln Plating Spring Cycling Classic (April 16-17, 2005) raised $5047 for the Willard Community Center located in southwest Lincoln. Over 250 cyclists from around the midwest took part in the two event, which was held at Branched Oak Lake and in the neighborhood near the Lincoln Plating facility. The 2004 edition of the race provided the Willard Community Center with a $3700 donation, which was used to install a new message board in front of the Willard buidling. This year's contribution will be used for interior improvements.
