If you are not heading north to the Tour of 10K Lakes or east to the Quad Cities criterium events this weekend, there are some great options in the area to keep the wheels spinning.
BRANCHED OAK LAKE 12-HOUR RELAY
This event has grown into a Memorial Day Weekend staple with hundreds of riders from around the midwest taking part in the festivities.

We're offering 10 to 50 mile rides. All rides are invited to attend the Monumental Fiddling Championship at Homestead National Monument after the ride.
The ride will benefit the CVB and the Homestead Conservation Trail Association.
All rides will begin and end at Riverside Park in Beatrice, which is near West Court Street. Riders can begin anytime between 10:00am and 1:00pm for these fully supported rides. Signs will be posted for all routes and SAG support will be offered until 3:00pm.

Finally, the members of THOR (Trails have Our Respect) will be heading north to Ponca SRA to do some riding and trail work for the upcoming "Ponca's Revenge" XC and DH mountain bike events. This is the third event in the 2005 Psycowpath MTB Series presented by the Nebraska Lottery.
