If a leisurely ride with family and friends is more of your speed, the Gage County CVB is hosting a Bike Rally on May 28 in Beatrice.  We're offering 10 to 50 mile rides.  All rides are invited to attend the Monumental Fiddling Championship at Homestead National Monument after the ride.

The ride will benefit the CVB and the Homestead Conservation Trail Association.

All rides will begin and end at Riverside Park in Beatrice, which is near West Court Street. Riders can begin anytime between 10:00am and 1:00pm for these fully supported rides. Signs will be posted for all routes and SAG support will be offered until 3:00pm.

For more information, please call 1-800-755-7745 or e-mail ssands@visitbeatrice.com

Finally, the members of THOR (Trails have Our Respect) will be heading north to Ponca SRA to do some riding and trail work for the upcoming "Ponca's Revenge" XC and DH mountain bike events. This is the third event in the 2005 Psycowpath MTB Series presented by the Nebraska Lottery.

Whether you race or not, get out and ride!
