BICYCLE LITTLE LEAGUE STARTS JUNE 6 |

Is your little leaguer ready to roll? The Lincoln YMCA & the Lincoln Bicycle Company wants to help your child become a safe bike rider, introduce a life-long way to stay in shape, enjoy the outdoors, and maybe even become the next Lance Armstrong. Who is Lance Armstrong? Only the first person to ever win the Tour de France six times, after defeating cancer, and inspiring many toward bicycle fitness.
Bicycle Little League will cover & include:
· Bike Safety
· Traffic & Laws · Proper Clothing · Basic Maintenance · Bike Path Etiquette · Proper Bike Fit · Supervised group rides · Refreshments after group ride · T-jersey (required for class)
Class Schedule:
The class will meet on Monday’s
June 6th - June 27th 6pm - 7:30pm.
Location: Densmore Park Pavilion, 6701 S. 10th, (West of Cooper YMCA)
Class Limit: 30 participants
Fees: YMCA member: $14
Non member: $19
Deadline: May 20th, 2005
Rain Outs: One rain out will be made up the rest will be canceled.
Class requirements:
· 7 years old & up
· Ride confidently
· Ride in a straight line
· No training wheels
· Able to brake as necessary
· Approved helmet
· Bike & helmet check over @ Lincoln Bicycle Company, 1401 Pine Lake Rd. Must be done before your child starts the League.
Parents are encouraged to participate.
