The 6th Annual Ak-Sar-Ben Time Trial Series gets underway this Saturday, May 7th.
Utilizing the familar course on Highway 31, racers will have an opportunity to benchmark themselves against previous times, and set the stage for yet another year of the "race of truth". Part of the Nebraska Cycling Association's "Rider of the Year" Competition, the May 7th TT is a fantastic opportunity for racers to test themselves against their peers, when "only the clock counts". Entry Fee: $20 for all categories each race
Categories: Juniors, Women, Cat V, Cat IV, Masters 40+, Cat I-II-III Registration opens at 7:30am; registration closes at 8:30am. Start times will be posted by 9am, with races starting at 9:30am. Dates: May 7, June 25, July 30, Aug 27 Prizes: Payout has been increased by over 40%! At the final Aug 27 TT, $1200 in cash & GC's will be given to the top riders in each category. Rules: All USCF Rules apply. Placing will be determined by total times in all events. Prizes will be awarded based on the riders three fastest times. Any ties will be decided from the results of the last race. Riders may upgrade at any time. Directions: Race starts at Schramm State Park. Take HWY 31 exit off I-80 (Outlet Mall, Flying J), and head South on HWY 31 to the fish hatchery. Park permits are required if you park on the south parking lot. |
