 Nearing the end of the race it was Cam Kirkpatrick ( Rasmussen/Orbea) and Kent McNeill (Midwest Cycling Community) fighting it out for first place. Photo John Peterson The highly contested Expert race was lead off with Kevin Limpach (Midwest Cycling Community) of Omaha, Nebr taking the hole shot along with Darin Schlake (Monkey Wrench) of Lincoln, Nebr and Kent McNeill (Midwest Cycling Community) of Omaha, Nebr. close behind on the first lap. In the end it came down to Cam Kirkpatrick (Rasmussen/Orbea) of Urbandale, IA and Kent McNeill to battle it out. Kent McNeill took second and was with Cam until midway through the last lap, losing 20 twenty seconds to Cam. Coming off of the Leadville 100 Kent said “My legs were still a bit tired, but I felt pretty good. Cam put the hammer down on the last lap and I tried to go with him, but my legs ached quite a bit and I was just unable to respond.” Cam is currently leading the Psycowpath Series. Quick Results:
