Omaha, Neb. -- HRRC/Bike Source’s Brian Jensen of Lawrence, Kan., won the rain-shortened Elmwood Park Pro I-II circuit race Saturday to solidify his overall lead after the first day of the Dave Babcook Memorial Stage Race.

After 6 years of promoting bike races, I have learned a few things:

1. You can never be "too organized."
2. You can never start "too early."
3. You can never be "too sure."

Promoting and staging a bike race is time-consuming and a lot of hard work. It is also some of the most fun you can have working with friends, teammates and/or family!
