The LBC/Highgear Training Series begins March 4, 2006 with a criterium at Branched Oak Lake, Lieber's Point near Raymond, NE. The 6-race series will include three criteriums at Branched Oak Lake on March 4, 11 and 18 as well as three circuit races at Pioneers Park in Lincoln on March 5, 12 and 19. |

Sioux City Bicycle Racing Team Is In Training Sioux City has its very own amateur bicycle racing team that is sanctioned by USA Cycling under the club name of Sioux City Velo. The Team will race under the sponsored name of PowerAde-Independent Fabrication throughout the Midwest in both road and off road races. “Our primary objective is to promote bicycle racing in the Siouxland area” says Cody McCullough, club president and Siouxland resident. Other Team members are Jay Chesterman (Sioux City), Jay Friday (Mason City), Robert Greigg (Sioux City), Sam Johnson (Sioux City), Todd Juhlin (Mason City), Brent Linn (Sioux City), Cody McCullough (Sioux City), Bill Mize (Sioux City), Molly Mize (Sioux City), Geoff Nelson (Sioux City), Jon Nelson (Sioux City) and Erik Peterson (Sioux City). |

Just days before the riders arrived, the team mechanics had taken delivery of 28 team issue Madone SL and five team issue Madone SSL frames that would be built-up in less than two days. |

T.H.O.R. would like to invite members and potential members to it's 2006 planning session on Sunday January 22, 2006 at Platte River State Park's Mallet Lodge. Individuals with a strong desire to help guide the organization's activities in the coming year are highly encouraged to attend. The following topics will be discussed: Finance/Funding, Appointments/Elections, Projects/Goals, and Membership. A spaghetti dinner and social will follow the planning session at 06:00 PM.
