Performance Marks Third Consecutive World Championship Medal
Manchester, Great Britain - The United States Cycling Team claimed its first medal of the 2008 UCI Track Cycling World Championships on Thursday as Sarah Hammer (Temecula, Calif.) finished second in the women's individual pursuit. Her silver-medal performance marked her third consecutive visit to the podium at the world championships after winning back-to-back world titles in 2006 and '07.

Raymond, NE - Despite temperatures that failed to meet the forecasted highs, a small, but determined group of cyclists lined up for the first organized road event of the 2008 season saturday at Branched Oak Lake. The training race hosted by Midwest Wheelmasters and sponsored by the Nebraska Cycling Association featured races for Men Masters, Men 5, Women, Men 4 and Men 1/2/3.

NCA Criterium Training Races Start Saturday |

Lincoln, NE - The Nebraska Cycling Association (NCA) Criterium Training Series starts this Saturday with a full schedule of races at Branched Oak Lake near Raymond. Midwest Wheelmasters will host the first event of the three race series, which include sessions in Norfolk and Omaha, too.
