Reed Wins World Championship in Women's Keirin

U.S. Finishes 2008 UCI Track Cycling World Championships with Three Medals *Manchester, Great Britain* - Jennie Reed (Kirkland, Wash.) gave the United States its first world title in the women's keirin on Sunday to close out the 2008 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. After winning the bronze medal in the sprint on Saturday, Reed gave the U.S. its third medal of the weekend when she sprinted to victory against her five challengers in the keirin final.

BMX Makes One Step Closer to Olympic Debut *DESOTO, Texas* - USA Cycling awarded its second annual national championships in the discipline of BMX racing on Saturday as Olympic hopefuls Kyle Bennett (Conroe, Texas) and Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.) captured elite titles as the sport prepares to make its Olympic debut in Beijing this summer.
