BMX Makes One Step Closer to Olympic Debut
DESOTO, Texas - USA Cycling awarded its second annual national championships in the discipline of BMX racing on Saturday as Olympic hopefuls Kyle Bennett (Conroe, Texas) and Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash.) captured elite titles as the sport prepares to make its Olympic debut in Beijing this summer.

Performance Expected to Qualify a Start Position for the U.S. at the Beijing Games
Manchester, Great Britain - Taylor Phinney (Boulder, Colo.) continued his quest for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team on Wednesday, lowering his personal best time in the men's individual pursuit by more than two seconds and recording a new world-record time for a junior.

San Francisco, Calif. - The USA Cycling Board of Directors today elected three new officers - including Mark Abramson as its president - at its biannual Board Meeting Wednesday in San Francisco. USA Cycling is the National Governing Body for the sport of competitive cycling in the United States.
