Palma de Mallora, Spain (March 28, 2007)-The United States Cycling Team opens the 2007 UCI Track World Championships Thursday as defending world champion Sarah Hammer (Temecula, Calif./Ouch Pro Cycling) leads the medal hopes for a small but focused American squad that features six riders.

Women’s Team, Georgia Gould Lead the Rankings; Men’s Team Third, Todd Wells Fourth

Colorado Springs, Colo.The United States and Georgia Gould (Ketchum, Idaho/Luna) are ranked number one in the world in the Olympic-style cross country discipline according to the latest edition of the international mountain bike rankings released Monday by the UCI.

Firecracker 50 Designated as National Championships for 2007-08Colorado Springs, Colo.

The “Firecracker 50” in Breckenridge, Colo. on July 4 has been designated as the 2007 and 2008 USA Cycling Mountain Bike Marathon National Championships, the national governing body announced today.

Fifth Edition of America’s Premier Cycling Race Continues Preparation

ATLANTA, Ga. – Organizers announced today that the Tour de Georgia is scheduled as planned, April 16-22, 2007. The Tour de Georgia is the longest professional stage race in North America this year at 667 miles, and remains as one of the highest ranked stage races outside of Europe (2.HC rating). A remarkable field of 15 elite teams will be announced in the coming days. Gould, Forsman Claim Pan American Mountain Bike Titles

Nequen, Argentina -The United States Mountain Bike Team swept the elite women's podium and collected a total of eight medals - two of them gold - at the Continental Mountain Bike Championships in Nequen, Argentina on Sunday.
