08-psyc-logoAlthough a chill still remains in the air, and snow & ice still cover our trails, soon the sun will be out, temperatures will be climbing, and the 2008 Psycowpath Series will be in full swing starting April 5!

Major change for 2008: Beginners are gonna race for less dough.  In the past, beginners would pay an entry fee plus a $10 one day USA Cycling License fee.  For 2008, we are taking care of the one day license  AND reducing entry fee to a flat $15.  No extra fees.  No hidden charges.  Just bring your bike, a smile, and $15 and strap on a number plate.

The 2008 Psycowpath Series features EIGHT events, read on for full schedule...

Kent McNeill along with a few others have been busy the last month and a half. France last month and Leadville 100 this month. Kent was kind enough to regale us with his account of their adventures.

2008 E’tape Du Tour

This year was supposed to be easier. I suppose in terms of mileage and total elevation gain, it was. Our route from Pau over the Tourmalet and then to the top of Hautacam was 108 miles with 11,600 feet of climbing. The past couple of years our routes have been from 125-150 miles with 13,000 to 14,000 feet of climbing and we have ridden in extreme heat conditions. This swung us to the other end of the spectrum. Hypothermia!
