Bellevue, NE - Cyclo-cross racing returns to the Big Red state with four days of challenging events. In addition to the daily prize payouts, the ’07 edition of the Nebraska ‘cross series will include a points competition for select race categories. Top finishers in the points competition will earn FREE entry to all of the 2008 Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series races! Whether you have raced cyclo-cross for years or have never tried it, there is a race category for you…with the USAC Cyclo-cross Championships in Kansas City for 2007 and 2008, the Midwest is buzzing with excitement over cyclo-cross.

Kansas City, Kan. - Racers hoping to get a sneak peek at the 2007 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships course will get their chance on Oct. 28 during the annual Boulevard Cup in Wyandotte County Park in Kansas City, Kan.
The nearly two-mile-long course was unveiled Monday on the race's official website, www.kccrossnationals.com. Online registration for the Dec. 13-16 National Championships continues through Dec. 8. Registration for the Boulevard Cup is available on www.kcbike.com.
Race Director Bill Marshall of KLM Marketing Solutions had a solid blueprint for the national championship course design, having staged several UCI races in the 360-acre park, which features rolling terrain in the scenic setting of hillside oak and lakeside sycamore trees.

Trek Demo Rides Nov 5th |

The Trek Demo Truck will be here Monday, November 5th. From 1pm to 7pm, Ken Derrico of Trek will be at Branched Oak Lake, Area 1, near Lincoln, NE. Ken will have some of the coolest new rigs for 08', including the full suspension Trek Top Fuel 69'er. The Top Fuel blends the best of both worlds with a 26" rear wheel and 29" front wheel.
Ken will also have the new Trek Madones road bikes to take for a spin around the lake. The New Madone is getting rave reviews both locally and in the magazines, see for yourself what all the buzz is about.
Shuttles will be leaving from Cycle Works hourly and refreshments will be provided by Monster Energy Drink. If you are going be there at the end of the day you may want to bring your lights.

Galata Third Overall At World Senior Games |

St. George, UT - Fred Galata of the Omaha Velo Club finished third overall at the Huntsman World Senior Games cycling competition.
Galata finished fourth in Thursday's criterium in downtown St. George and fourth in the final stage, a 40-mile road race.
