The 2006 Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series will host a banquet and celebration at one of the areas most popular mountain bike venues, Platte River State Park (Mallet Lodge) on November 11.

The 2006 Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series has many things to celebrate: great trails, involved clubs, supportive families, enthusiastic fans, culture, character, individualism, fantastic sportsmanship, and a collective comaraderie that creates and rekindles friendships at every race.
The 2006 Psycowpath Banquet will feature an afternoon and evening of activities for everyone in the family.
2-4pm: MTB Ride on the Horse Trails (meet 1:45pm, ride leaves Mallet Lodge at 2pm)
Guided Hikes for families leave Mallet Lodge at 2pm and 3pm.
Kids Movies on projection screen and other activities in Mallet Lodge.

Four Individual Champions Honored as Downhill Concludes Competition
Angel Fire, N.M. (October 22, 2006)-Fort Lewis College completed its
sweep of all four Division I men's events at the 2006 USA Cycling
Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships as Chris Heath won
Sunday's downhill competition to secure the overall Division I title
for Fort Lewis College - its third championship in the last four
years. Fort Lewis College earned a total of 698 points to edge
defending champion University of Colorado by 25 points. After the men's
squad won the short track and 4-cross events Friday and the cross
country race Saturday, Heath clocked a winning time of 5 minutes, 8.06
seconds as the fastest man down the mountain to earn an individual
downhill title and solidify an overall win for Fort Lewis. And because
a school's overall point tally included both men's and women's events,
a third-place effort from Sarah Elworthy in the Division I women's
downhill race also factored heavily into Fort Lewis' overall win.
