The Tranquility Tire Tantrum will kickoff the mountain bike racing season in Nebraska tomorrow, April 1, with a top notch event. Despite thunderstorms Thursday, dry temps and high winds Friday are drying the well-built course in due fashion, and the course will be race ready on Saturday. Racers will receive a free water bottle and t-shirt, and experience the fun and fitness of mountain bike competition in Nebraska. The Tranquility Tire Tantrum is the first race in the 2006 Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath MTB Series, and the first of 5 XC events. The race features music, food vendors (free to racers!), race announcer, water bottles, t-shirts, and more! The series boasts over $10,000 in cash and prizes.
