Registration

Online registration through Friday, May 16, 2008, 9:00 p.m. at https://www.sportsbaseonline.com/Item.aspx?id=2375
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION Entry fee includes USCF $2.00 surcharge and $1.00 for NCA development fund. 1-day licenses will be available for purchase ($10.00) on site.
Check-In All riders MUST check-in between 7:30-8:30 a.m. Riders will not be allowed to start without first checking in on race day. Individual time trials begin at 9:00 a.m. Riders will leave according to start order as posted on www.nencycling.org and at race registration office.

Results & Awards

Results will be posted at Woodland Park facilities after the race. Award ceremonies will be held shortly after results are posted. State championship medals will be awarded to top three Nebraska residents in each category. Riders must have valid USCF annual license to qualify for championship medal.(No more than 50% of the field will be awarded cash prizes.)

Course

The course for 2008 is 40 kilometers out and back starting at Woodland Park and going toward Winside on Highway 35. Riders will turn around shortly before reaching Winside and return to the start/finish. The course is very hilly with very few flat stretches. The road surface is smooth with wide shoulders and little traffic. Riders are encouraged to ride on the shoulder of the road. Course will NOT be closed.

Rules

Approved USCF helmets are mandatory and jerseys with sleeves are required. All 2008 USCF rules are in effect. Events will be held rain or shine. Race numbers must be placed vertically on right side. Helmets must be worn at all times while on the bike. Valid and current USCF license must be presented at check-in. Promoter reserves the right to adjust start times and mileage.  Promoter reserves the right to cancel/combine events and prize lists as necessary.

Directions

Woodland Park is located east of Norfolk on Highway 35. From Junction Highways 24, 35, & 275, turn north to traffic light at Norfolk Avenue, then east on Highway 35 to Woodland Park. Registration area is in camping area behind Woodland Park Grocery. See Google Map...
